Prevailing torque feature for male and female threaded fasteners. FCT-360 Nylon* is capable of providing multiple re-uses in most applications. It has been designed to provide a full circumference prevailing torque feature on threads. The 360 feature provides a cushioning effect superior to that of nylon “patch” features. The formulation of FCT-360 Nylon* includes a special anti-galling polymer.

FCT-360 Nylon* can be applied to a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steel, stainless steel and brass. The adhesion properties are excellent on a wide variety of substrates, platings and finishes.

Part Processing:
Forest City Technologies, Inc. applies FCT-360 Nylon* as a liquid material to the threads of fasteners. After Forest City dries and cures the FCT-360 Nylon* at 205°C, it becomes a durable, thermoplastic thread coating material, suitable for bulk packaging, automatic feeding and other plant handling.
