Product Description:
Prevailing torque feature for male and female threaded fasteners. HT-343 is capable of providing multiple re-uses in most applications. It has been designed to provide a full circumference prevailing torque feature on the threads. The 360° feature provides a cushioning effect superior to that of nylon “patch” features at elevated temperatures above 450°F. The formulation of HT-343 includes a special anti-galling polymer.

Adhesion:
HT-343 can be applied to a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steel, stainless steel, brass. The adhesion properties are excellent on a wide variety of substrates, platings and finishes.

Part Processing:
Forest City Technologies, Inc. applies HT-343 as a liquid material to the threads of the fasteners. After Forest City dries and cures the HT-343 at 225° C, it becomes a durable thread coating material, suitable for bulk packaging, automatic feeding and other plant handling.
