Forest City Technologies manufactures custom molded perimeter seals, grommets, O-rings, interfacial seals, and face seals for electrical connector and electronics assemblies. Molded sealing components can be designed to fit complex connector geometry, manage compression, support wire or terminal interfaces, and maintain protection through assembly and service.
Material and process options may include silicone, fluorosilicone, thermoplastic elastomers, urethane, and other application-appropriate rubber or polymer systems. Forest City Technologies’ molding experience includes liquid silicone rubber, high-consistency rubber transfer molding, injection transfer molding, thermoplastic molding, and multi-component approaches, allowing the sealing concept to be evaluated around the part rather than forced into one process.
