LOCTITE® DRI 205™ is a dry-to-the-touch, pre-applied threadlocking and sealing film for threaded fasteners. The two-component acrylic formulation remains inert on the fastener until assembly releases the quick-curing resin.
Once activated, the resin fills voids within the threads and cures to securely lock and seal the assembly. The coating helps prevent vibration-related loosening while providing sealing performance for applications such as transmission bolts, pipe plugs, and fittings. DRI 205 is typically used across an operating range of -54°C to +150°C.
