Precote® Products

Precote® 80 is a high-strength, high-temperature-resistant thread-locking and sealing coating designed for use on all types of external and internal threaded fasteners.

Precote® 85 is a high-strength, high-temperature-resistant thread-locking material, featuring a very low coefficient of friction and excellent controlled torque-versus-tension performance.

Precote® 200 is a resilient under-the-head sealant that can be used to seal the mating surfaces of screws and plugs, eliminating the need for O-rings and gaskets.

Precote® 15 provides immediate sealing for high-temperature assembly components such as screws, studs, plugs, nuts, and pipe threads. It seals against gases, petroleum-based products, brake fluid, and other liquids. Its excellent adhesion properties make it ideal for sealing applications on brass, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel fasteners.

Precote® Top 300 Thread Lubricant is a film-forming synthetic wax pre-applied to threaded fasteners to reduce friction during assembly. Designed for thread-forming fasteners such as Taptite® and other trilobular screws, Precote® Top 300 provides optimal friction values upon installation. It helps prevent galling, torque chattering, and “cold welding,” and can be applied to all threaded materials, including plastics.

Precote® Top 100 is a film-forming surface coating that provides temporary corrosion protection. It reduces friction under the head and on threaded areas and can be applied over Precote® micro-encapsulated adhesives without significant loss of locking performance.
